Some Information on my PhD Research:
My PhD (and the origin of this website) was about improving our understanding of how depression, anxiety and sexual difficulties are related. We found that these common experiences often go hand-in-hand. Surprisingly, we didn't find any causal relationships between them, but instead found that they act like a "family" of disorders.

What is desire?
We are currently recruiting women over the age of 18 to help us understand women's experiences of sexual desire and arousal.

About the study: At Macquarie University’s Centre for Emotional Health, we are doing research to understand the best ways to define and measure women’s sexual desire and arousal. If you are a woman over the age of 18, you are invited to participate in this research by completing a one-off online survey. The survey will be anonymous. It will take about 30 minutes, and at the end you can enter the draw to win one of three $50 Coles Group & Myer Gift Cards, or, if you are a PSYC104/105 student at Macquarie, you will receive 30 minutes worth of course credit for participating in research.
What is the best way to measure anxiety in people over 60?
We are currently recruiting Australians aged 60 and over for a new online study at the Centre for Emotional Health.

About the study: At the Centre for Emotional Health, we're trying to find out which questions are best to assess anxiety in people over 60. If you're over 60 and have experienced symptoms of anxiety, you can help us by filling out some brief questionnaires.
