We currently have 632 completed responses by people over 18 at time point one, of which 180 are male (28.5%). The mean age at time point one is 32, with a standard deviation of 11.85. Evidently, people over 45 - and men in general - are still the hard groups to reach!
In terms of the 'weekly' vs. 'monthly' schedule, 65.8% (416 people) have selected 'weekly'. Men and women are about equally likely to select 'weekly' (64.4% and 66.4%, respectively), and there are no differences between age groups either.
Of the 284 people that have reached the end of the study, 157 (55.28%) have completed the final time point. This level of drop-out is still ok; it's expected that about 50% of people will drop out in a six time-point online study. We just need to make sure it doesn't deteriorate too much from here.
Basically, things are coming along slowly and steadily. It's hard going finding new help with advertising the study, but Access PR is putting together a press package for us over the next few weeks that will have a lot of potential for getting some new participants.
Thanks again - very much - to all of you who are sticking with it through these email glitches we've had. It's great to have a group of such understanding and patient participants!
