Sorry about the lack of updates recently; I was planning a double engagement party weekend, and have been in bed with a virus since then. So there's a lot to catch up on.
Responses have slowed somewhat, but continue to tick over. We now have 225 completed responses at the first time point! Of these, 160 are female, 65 are male, and the average age is 29 years. These statistics are a bit of a worry, because males are only making up a little over a quarter of the sample, and people over 35 are underrepresented. In order for us to answer our research questions effectively, we need information from as broad a range of people as possible.
At the follow up time points:
- Time point 2: 82 of the 131 people who have reached the second time point have completed it (about 63%),
- At time point 3: 47 out of 86 people have completed it so far (about 55%), and
- At time point 4: 29 of 55 people have completed it (about 53%).
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the word out to men and/or over-35s? I think my best bet might be to go hassle advertisers some more, and bank on exposure for the study being effective.
Today will launch the first follow-up time point for the 'monthly' group. Let's hope the break since the last time point will have left them rejuvenated and wanting more!
